Now that you have prepared for a job search, you will find this step a lot easier. Below you will find a list of ‘sites’ on the Internet that list jobs. To get to them you just need to ‘right click’ with the mouse on the underlined title, and fill out simple forms using the key words you have already put together.
For companies to which you’d like to apply for work, you can email your resume from your Google E-mail account that you set up, or you can ‘cut and paste’ information from your resume onto the employer’s on-line application — in some cases you do both. Ask a volunteer if you need help learning how to use the mouse and ‘right-clicking’ to copy or cut and paste information from one page to another.
From most of the following sites you can also ‘post’ your resume so employers can search for you. A caution: Some job-hunters are reporting that information posted on job sites are being misused for marketing or other unwanted uses. If you do post your resume, leave off the header containing your contact information and enter it into the job site’s contact form instead. That way you can better control who you release your contact information to.
