Vassie Fowler was promoted to Executive Director after serving as Assistant Director for a year. She is a long-time Biddeford resident who’s been active in helping the community find resources, information, and partnerships through volunteering and working with Community Partnerships Protecting Children as well as York County Community Action. She is known around town as “The Turkey Lady” and for ten years played Mrs. Claus for the downtown holiday fest. She is also a past school committee member and have been given the key to the city of Biddeford.

Vassie lives with her husband Jack and a passel of miniature dachshunds, spending her free time volunteering, on a beach, or reading.
